We offer a discounted rate of $160 per night for any stays of two or more consecutive nights*.

The Mangonui Heritage Trail takes you around many local historic buildings and sights.
The Heritage Trail is three kilometers in length and easily accessible by foot or vehicle. All sites are indicated by the Heritage Trail Markers. The trail takes on average 1.5 hours.
Walkers are advised to take the St. Andrew’s walkway to access sites and enjoy the spectacular views from above Mangonui.

Butler Point is notable for its association with the early history of the Far North. On the property is a Whaling Museum, acknowledged as one of the most comprehensive private museums of its kind in New Zealand; Butler House, the residence of Captain William Butler built in 1847; and Gardens of exotic and native flora, including extensive stands of ancient Pohutukawa trees.

Cape Reinga is the northernmost point in New Zealand, most famously home to it’s picturesque lighthouse and incredible coastal scenery as the Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean.
Take a dip at one of Doubtless Bay’s swimming beaches. Coopers Beach and Cable Bay provide sheltered bays just down the road, The nearby Karikari Peninsula has some lovely isolated beaches.
Feeling adventurous? Sand surf Te Paki‘s giant sand dunes or take an alternative route down ‘Ninety Mile Beach‘, spectacular west coast highway. (Suitable for 4WD vehicles only)
